Botanical Gardens Big Bloom
It’s DOLLAR DAY— visitors may shop and tour the Botanical Gardens for just $1 per person thanks to DOLLAR DAY corporate environmental sponsors Cheniere, CITGO, Flint Hills Resources, Valero, NuStar, Port Corpus Christi, H-E-B and City of Corpus Christi Solid Waste Services.
As usual, BIG BLOOM! includes orchid and plumeria sales, xeriscape and native landscape plants, tropicals plus specialty plant and yard art vendors. Returning popular entertainment features include butterfly and lady bug releases, reptile shows, visits with exotic parrots and afternoon music.
New eco-entertainment for kids and adults provided by Texas Master Naturalists includes nature walk-and-talks on the Mary Hope Brennecke Nature Trail, birding scopes on the Wetlands Awareness Boardwalk, kids touch-and-learn projects, and the Easter Bunny in Monkey Mansion Tree House--cameras welcome.

Fees/Admission
Members are admitted free, and may begin shopping at 8 a.m., and get 10 percent discount on Botanical Gardens plants and Nature’s Boutique merchandise.
