Coastal Bend Day at the Capitol

Coastal Bend Legislative Day (CB to ATX) is our chance to tell the story of the Coastal Bend to all Legislators in Austin.  Bus transportation is available for those who want to ride, but is not mandatory.  The day will begin in the Members Lounge where we will invite legislators to learn about our priorities for the session.  Throughout the day participants will attend ceremonial resolutions in the house and senate.  The delegation leaders (Mayor, County Judge, Chamber President and others)  will visit with the Governor, Lt. Governor and Speaker.  The rest of the delegation will make office visits to other members and talk about our legislative priorities.  The day will close with a reception at the Bullock Museum featuring the grammy nominated artist El Dusty, coastal cuisine, and tequila tasting.  Bus riders will return to Corpus Christi that evening after the reception.
