Post Acute Medical owns and operates Long Term Acute Care hospitals (LTAC) and Inpatient Rehabilitation Hospitals (IRF). There are 26 hospitals through out the United States and 6 Inpatient Rehabilitation Hospital under development. In Corpus Christi, Post Acute Medical (PAM) operates PAM Specialty Hospital of Corpus Christi South located off a Saratoga and PAM Specialty Hospital of Corpus Christi North located inside of Christus Spohn Shoreline Hospital. This hospital will be relocating to the new building.
Long Term Acute Care is recommended for those patients who require complex medical management and therapeutic care 24 hours a day. Inpatient Rehabilitation Hospital is recommended for those patients who need 3+ hours of physical, occupational and speech therapy services on a daily basis. Some of the conditions that are treated in our IRF are Brain Injuries, Spinal Cord Injuries, Amputations, Functional Decline, Stroke and Neurological disorders.

We have been serving the community of Corpus Christi for the last 3 years and look forward to diversifying and meeting the needs of the medical industry.
