Lifeguard Class

Interested in a great summer job or a challenging career as a progessional lifeguard? Through videos, group discussion and hands-on practicces, you'll learn teamwork, rescue and surveillance skills, First Aid and CPR/AED and other skills you need to work as a professional lifeguard. Upon successful completion of the course you will recieve a 2-year certification from the American Red Cross in Lifeguarding that includes first aid, professinal-level CPR and AED in one certificate.

Certification Requirements:

• Must be at least 15 years old
• Pass certian swimming requirements
• Attend and participate in all class sessions
• Demonstrate competency in all required skills, activities, and final rescue scenarios
• Pass the final written exams with minimum grades of 80 percent
