The 5th Anuual Great Expectations Speaker Series Luncheon

The Women's Shelter of South Texas along with our Title Sponsor Flint Hills Resources is excited to announce our 5^th Annual Great Expectations Speaker Series Luncheon.  Planning is underway for the 2016 fundraiser which will be held June 22, 2016 at the American Bank Center featuring Award-Winning Actress & Activist Kathy Najimy.  Najimy is best known for her memorable performances in over 25 films including Sister Act and Hocus Pocus along with several TV projects and voiceover work.  A dynamic force, Najimy has been a vocal supporter of women, girls and LGBT rights.  Speaking out against sexism, racism, and homophobia — she shares an idealism that we are all equal, connected by our sense of common humanity. Delightful and warm, Kathy Najimy shares her message with candor and refreshing humor.  Her belief in social justice and advocacy encourages audiences to work toward making the world a better place.
