Walk-A-Mile In Her Shoes
Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi, along with the Women's Shelter of South Texas present Walk-A-Mile in Her Shoes. This event raises awareness regarding gender violence by walking a mile wearing red high heels. Individuals of all ages are welcome to participate. To honor victims of rape, sexual assault and gender violence, there will be a candlelight vigil following the walk. T-shirts and buttons will be on sale starting Monday, April 6th. All proceeds go to the Women's Shelter of South Texas. Please refer to our Facebook page for further details about the event.
