About Us

With over 30 years of pain management experience, Dr. Yixiang Liu is a compassionate doctor who understand her patients and wants to provide the best possible care experience. Her passion for hospitality and treatment efficiency has driven her to be one of the most recognized pain management specialists in her field.



After completing medical school in China, Dr. Liu attended the Illinois Institute of Technology in Chicago and received a Ph.D. in biochemistry and molecular biology.



She pursued her education by completing a postdoctoral fellowship at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine followed by a residency at Rush Presbyterian St. Luke Medical Center. She went on to serve as a faculty member and Attending Anesthesiologist Consultant at the Baylor College of Medicine in Houston. Over the course of her career and education, she has become an expert in many areas, such as:

For the last ten years, Dr. Liu has been dedicated to her own private practice and helping her patients in southern Texas!
