Our History
Hose of South Texas was born from a passion for quality, dedication to customer satisfaction, and a deep understanding of the critical role hose play in various industries. Our journey began in 1978 when Kermit Batey and Norman Glasson recognized the need for a dependable source of hose in South Texas. From day one, our mission has been clear: to offer world-class products and provide superior customer service to deliver industry best solutions. In 2006, the commitment to excellence was reinforced when we were acquired by Kermit and Norman’s sons, Tripp Batey, Craig Glasson, and Jay Glasson, and two long-time employees, Sam Jenkin and Gilbert Perez who shared the vision for quality and service. This partnership has enabled Hose of South Texas to expand our capabilities and enhance our ability to serve our customers.
