About Us

Mike Fields is the owner-operator of Reliable Power Equipment and Services LLC., (RPES) a Texas Manufacturer’s Representative Firm, established June 2020.


Immediately prior to founding RPES, Mr. Fields spent 21 years at Powell Electrical Systems Inc., a switchgear and E House manufacturer and integrator headquartered in Houston, Texas.


Positions at Powell included Estimating, Project Management, Outside Sales and Regional Sales Manager (Midwest).


During his tenure, a solid base of satisfied repeat customers including federal, state and local government entities, public utilities, oil and gas companies and many other Fortune 500 companies was developed and maintained. Strong working relationships were developed with owners, engineers and contractors.
