From FM 624, turn north toward Mathis on FM 666. Go about 1/2 mile and turn left on FM 3088. Pass the historical marker on the right and our entrance is the first drive after the marker.

About Us

The Spirit Center is a 501(c)(3) ministry of the Sisters of the Incarnate Word and Blessed Sacrament. It is nestled within 60 beautiful acres of south Texas outside picturesque Bluntzer. Located only 30 minutes from Corpus Christi, it offers the invaluable opportunity for young people to experience a retreat close to home yet away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Our Center encourages guests to disconnect from the world and reconnect with nature and with God… changing young lives for the better. The Spirit Center is a very special place where groups can seek the tranquility of natural beauty and peace.
