The Department of Theatre and Dance at Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi is proud to host Electricidad by Luis Alfaro, Tuesday, Sept. 30, through Saturday, Oct. 4, at 7:30 p.m. A matinee performance will be held Sunday, Oct. 5, at 2 p.m.
Directed by Marco Muñoz, this explosive drama reimagines Sophocles’ Electra in a modern Los Angeles barrio, blending English and Spanish to explore violence, vengeance, and the search for redemption within a family bound by gang culture. Performances will take place in the Wilson Theatre, located inside the Center for the Arts. Tickets are $12 general admission, with discounts available for students, seniors, and military. Purchase tickets at tamucc.tix.com, by visiting the Center for the Arts box office, or by calling 361.825.5800.
