Furgason BRAVO! Series Glenn Miller Orchestra

Join Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi for the 2019-2020 “Furgason BRAVO! Series” at the Performing Arts Center (PAC). The Glenn Miller Orchestra will perform on Thursday, Feb. 20, at 7:30 p.m. The band has its own distinctive sound, which is created by the clarinet holding the melodic line, doubled or coupled with the tenor sax playing the same notes, and the harmonies produced by three other saxophones, while growling trombones and wailing trumpets add their oo-ahs. This program is funded by Hotel Occupancy Tax fund by the City of Corpus Christi through the Arts & Cultural Commission. Reserved seat ticket prices range from $25 to $35 (plus applicable services fees), and Islander student tickets are $7 with valid SandDollar$ ID. Tickets to all shows go on sale Monday, Aug. 5, at 9 a.m. and individuals receive a 15% discount when purchasing tickets for three or more BRAVO! performances.
