The ShopLocalCC Initiative is to help promote our locally owned business community, as well to provide information about our community events.

A few years ago on a Small Business Saturday, I remember thinking to myself, “Supporting local business should be more than just one day out of the year,” and that’s when ShopLocalCC was born. I started out with my little accounts on Instagram & Facebook and started sharing posts from as many different local businesses as I could find, while promoting the #shoplocalcc hashtag. I’m so proud today to see how my personal project has grown into a real thing - our hashtag has been used over 65,000+ times, and we’ve been able to establish partnerships with dozens of local businesses. Let’s keep supporting local!
